Dougie Evans is a freelance composer and project manager. They started their career as a sound artist in 2008 writing music for contemporary dance, and later becoming Co-Artistic Director of Lîla Dance (2012-2018). As a composer they’ve created a huge variety of award-winning dance and theatre productions, BBC productions, short films, animations, National Trust audio walks, and sound installations. As a producer their work has included outdoor dance productions (Stopgap, Joli Vyann), heritage projects (Norfolk & Norwich Festival), dance films (Compass Dance, Lila Dance) and Norfolk Into Opera Festival 2023.
