The Art of Courtly Love

7th February 2022

The Art of Courtly Love was hosted at the Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell in February 2022, as part of the Love Light festival.

Thank you to our wonderful creatives who have brought The Art of Courtly Love alive through music, dance, poetry, and performance:

Glass House Dance, Shey Hargreaves, Daisy Henwood & Lewis Buxton, and Ed Yelland.

The Art of Courtly Love is one of many events & activities funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn

Norwich Castle: Royal Palace Reborn is a project to transform Norwich Castle’s iconic Norman Keep, one of Europe’s most important early medieval castles.

Please also see our Case Study for the Fight or Flight project at Norwich Castle from October 2019.

The project will transform the Keep’s internal spaces by rebuilding its medieval floors and rooms to so that everyone can experience a Norman royal palace and its stories. It is one of the largest heritage projects of its kind currently underway in the UK. The major funder is the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
