We are pleased to invite you to the final opportunity to see The Wavering Light; a dance performance resulting from conversations and research into the life of Dan Flavin between choreographer Katie Green, dancer Megan Griffiths and BASTIAN gallery, London.
This public performance will be held on the 10th of February 2020 at 19:00 in the BASTIAN gallery, 8 Davies Street, London, W1K 3DW
The performance is free (although capacity in the gallery is limited so you will need to reserve a ticket here: https://www.ticketsignite.com/event/2553/the-wavering-light in order to be added to our guest list), and will last 15 minutes.
Chris Craig from BASTIAN writes:
"Green’s choreography suggests a push/pull relationship with the light sculptures whereby Griffiths is presented intimately enthralled to the lights, bashfully separate from them and finally vitally inspired by them. In the process the static installation comes to life, living and breathing with the dancer; the fall of light is rhythmically in time with the dancer."
The exhibition Dan Flavin: For Prudence runs until 15 February 2020 at BASTIAN, London.
